Default Updated pictures of my custom Pearl MMX! New heads! =)

Hereīs some new pictures of my Pearl MMX.
I really like my current setup, even though it probably looks very weird (especially in the pictures!). I find it very comfortable to angle the bassdrum, and to have good space for my arms while playing the toms. That way I donīt feel way too uptight, when I play moeller strokes etc.

I hope you enjoy! =)
Zorlee...

PS: Check out the custom tom-arms! I ordered them from drummaker.com - itīs the Yamaha OMNI-ball tom-arm system, only for a Pearl kit. How awesome is that!? =)

Beautiful kit man! I find it interesting how you put the floor tom right next to the bass pedal, is that comfortable?

Nice kit!

Your kit is amazing.
I really like the fact that there are no legs for the floors. I'm a big fan of the whole floating floor tom concept. It just lets you get in close and not worry about kicking your drums away!
Cymbals are amazing too.
How do you like your ride?

Thank you guys! :)
About the floortom and the basspedal: Well, it's a weird angle, but yeah - it's pretty close to my right foot! I really like that, because the space between the snare and the floortom is smaller, and therefore easier to do combinations between the two!
About the ride: It's pure magic, man! I love that thing! Rivets ftw!

Woah, that's an incredible looking kit. Those Ks look so damn good, but ok, I have a weak "K-Spot".
Makes me wanna jump on it and groove away! Take good care of it, man.

Very interseting setup i like the small tom over beside the floor, bet that adds some cool ideas. But can you do one thing for me i love how this kit looks and i'd really like to see it with a "normal" setup cause i'm seriously considering getting a kit with rack toms all the same dpeth.

That set up seems wierd...the way your legs would be positioned on the hi hat pedal and bass drum pedal i imagine would be very uncomfortable...nice set but wierd set up...but hey whatever works for you

Most impressive! I love it! Like the small tom to the right of the floor tom. Love the wooden rim snare. You should be proud. Also like your cymbal choices. And I must not forget to mention the Cobras. Really Fab!

Thank you guys!
About setting it up "normally" - I'll do this when I have the time, but right now I'm practising a lot + a lot of jazztrio rehersals, so I really don't have time to do it at the moment - but I will!! :)
About the setup - I really set it up from scratch. Starting with bassdrum, hi-hat and snare. It seems "weird" (especially in the pictures), but if you look closely you'll see that my legs will be in a \ / angle, in stead of the "normal" \ | angle (the small lines being my feet).
If you sit down on a stool, you don't sit with your feet right forward, and therefore I didn't want my bassdrum to be faced that way either.
I'll see if I can dig up a better picture to show this, hehe! :)
