Very nice!! Those HHXs sure have a nice quality to them. Now all you need are some groove hats and possibly gruntersdad's crash.

Congratulations on some fantastic cymbals. Those are great pics, too. I love those closeup shots. I liked the HHX Evo Splash when I heard it, too. I just wasn't looking for a splash at the time. Your stuff looks great. I love natural colored drums, too. Everything is first rate.

I recently choose some new core cymbals for my set (hats, ride, crash, china). I was open to just about anything with a slight edge to Sabian over some Meinl Byzance. Well I set up about 6 different models of each type cymbal at once. Systematically, my former drum teacher and I sound checked each model and I was pleased to walk away with a handpicked dream setup. I got the 14 HHX Stage Hats, 20 HHX Stage Ride, 18 HHX China, 16 HHX Studio Crash. There are some pics of my stuff (posing and set up) in my sig..

those cymbals look nice. i'm currently playing masterwork pera series 17" and also masterwork custom pointer 16"..i have a signature Sabian ride that's 21". i play Zildjian K hats 13"..and Sabian HHX 10" splash stacked on top of an AAX o-zone crash 16"..and a china with a zildjian K stacked inside 16" and 10" respectively..i'm thinking about switching everything to the sabian HHX series. i want the Xtreme 17" crash and HHX o-zone 16" or 18" crash..but your set up is where its at..

How well does the 10' HHX Evo Splash cut through during a number?
You have a mike picking it out?

edit
I've just remembered how unnecessarily offensive you were to me (I think it was you. If it wasn't you I do apologise) just for posting an April fools joke on April 1st????.....so it's ok, I don't expect an answer from you although I sometimes use my set of Evolutions-Weckl sig.

Congrats on the new brass!

I'm an HHX fan myself. Love my 14" Groove Hats, 16" Evolution crash and 21" HHXplosion crash (that thing is a BEAST).
