Default Any Zoom H2 or H4 owners out there?

Thinking of getting either one. What are the pro's / con's etc....

Thanks.

I have a H4 and man is it amazing... pros.. built in 4 track recording, options for different sound qualities, many effects, gain control, built in metronome, easy to setup/navigate and connect to USB.

Cons - None that I can think of this thing is amazing, don't expect studio CD quality but overall this is a great unit to record live playing anywhere you please.

H2 here.

Easy to use. Records live rehearsals well, with various gain settings to avoid clipping. Records me hacking on guitar and drums by myself as well. Repeat: very easy to use (easier than the H4.)

Cons: no multi-track recording. But I don't need that anyway, for multitrack I just use it as a USB sound card and record into Sonar. But if you need that, the H4 has 4 tracks.

H2 has no effects (H4 does) but H2 does have metronome, with count-in if you need it.

Did I mention it is very easy to use? (I'm no technophobe either.. I work on mobile phone ASICs for a living.)

yea H4 pwns dude. I'm a guitarist and i use it to record our rehearsals and stuff......great sound. like its so clear and picks up just about anything. we were jamming and our singer during a solo was tappin his hand on a wall for some reason and it picked it up. And i lend my H4 to our drummer a lot so he can play around cause i have other recording equipment. Beautiful sound. I recommend it highly for drums
