Default Earthworks KickPad

Does anyone have experience with one of these? I've heard great things about it, and I'm considering one for use with my Audix D6, so I don't have to gate and compress and EQ the kick to get it to stand out. I know it's an EQ pad, so you know.

Thanks.

I have one. I don't notice a big difference. Invest in a Yamaha Subkick. Those things friggin rock.
