Default Recording Drums

Besides Microphones, cables and stands, What do i need to record my drum sound.

a hard disc recording software would be quite useful... and a mixing console (for a rack would do).

there's already a to of threads on this, so just look through those and you'll find wealths of informations. there are many ways to record it, all of which are in the past threads, so check those out, and if you have a question, bump those ones up.

There are many ways to do it....but this is how i do it...I use a bunch of standard descent quality mics (some made for recording drums some not) i set them up the way i prefer (there i many ways to mic and record a kit)....send them through xlr cables into a small mixer....then eq the incoming signals on the mixer...then run the mixer into a firewire port and into my computer...where i record and edit the tracks with sony acid 6.0...hope that helps
