Default New stuff

I have not posted my kit in a while and wanted to show some things I have got over the last 8 months. I got a Ludwig Supra Phonic over the weekend (anniversary gift), a Pearl snare that I traded for (got around $70 in it) and a Zildjian 8" K Custom Dark Splash. I still have my other snares .Here are a few pics-I hope you like them.

Take care

Ah no wonder that snare looks all shiny, it's brand spankin new. Of course if it's a supra it sounds great, regardless of year. Like that Pearl Snare, too. What wood is it? Setup is lookin' great.

Thanks !! The Pearl is a 7x12 maple. I believe the finish is called liquid amber. It is used and I traded some unwanted items for it. I put a couple of new heads on it and a little elbow grease........good as new. I really like the sound too, it is a completely different sound for my collection. I never thought of myself as a collector but over the past 3 or 4 years I have gained a small collection. I have 5 and maybe next year #6 ? Anyway I am thankful for what I have and it is more than I deserve.
