As much as I love Bonzo kits, I can't see yours. You can upload it through drummerworld. Before posting a message, scroll down to "manage attachments", then click on "browse" and select the image file(s) from your computer.

You got it. Looks great. B/O badges... what year? Is there a second floor tom for the "true" Bonham setup? I know this kit sounds huge just looking at it.

Well it finally worked anyway The kit is a 1983 Ludwig 6ply Maple. This was a massive Kit in it's day 2 16x26" Bass Drums 13"x13"and14"x14" Rack Toms 16"x16" and 18"x18" Floor Toms.8x14" Colesium Snare. It was out of my possesion for almost 10 years.I have decided to set it up Bonzo style due to space restrictions. It took some effort to clean it up.I was inspired by the some the great kits I have seen posted on this forum. And I have to thank the resident Ludwig Guru LudwigVonDrumcrazy for inspiration and guidance. It is a work in progress. I have acquired some Coated Diplomat heads and thanks to LVDC a correct early seventies Ludwig Logo. The kit also has 15" Paiste Soundege HighHats but I wish I had the 24" 2002 Ride to go with it.

They look great! So I take it these are chrome over wood? LVDC is definitely the man and has so much knowledge and info on Ludwig drums. Congrats on the reacquisition of the kit.

Ah, smart choice going to LVDC. The man knows his 'wigs. The whole setup sounds beastly. I have to say, I always have a little more respect for the Bonham kits with historically correct cymbal choices. ; )

Thanks for all the kind words Guys it means alot. LVDC is the man ! I was inspired to do a major cleanup on this kit by looking at the posts of all his great projects. He helped me out with correct position of the bass drum mounted cymbal arm. And yes they are Chrome-O-Wood and I think they cleaned up quite nice for a kit thats 25 years old..

You took the words right out of my mouth PaiceFan!

It's reading generous comments like this that makes helping out when I can all worth while and restores my faith in others.

Thanks to all for the kind words, it really does mean a lot........
