Default Metal drumming question.

Hi there. I'm thinking of buying ebony pinstripe batter heads, Renaissance P3 snare, and Power stroke 4 bass head. What do you think? what would you recommend?

the pinstripes would be good for metal...give you a good thud sound...

PS4 is a good bass head...it'll sound good for metal also if you muffle it up some..

if youre going to be mic'd then pinstripes would be good.

if not then i suggest something more open.
for durability maybe emporers or G2s?

Well I actually bought Clear pinstripe for the toms, coated powerstroke 3 for the snare, and clear power stroke 3 for the bass. I'm really happy with them it's a huge difference from the stock heads.
