Default Head combos for my new DW Collectors

Hey Guys! I am getting a maple DW Collectors natural satin oil sizes 10x8, 12x9, 14x11, and 22x18 and am researching different head combos that will give me a warm, mid resonant, mid open sound (except bass and which I want focused).
Toms - Batter: Evans EC1 Coated
Resonant: Aquarian Classic Clear (Im still not sure about this or Clear G1 or Clear Ambassador, the Aquarian technology and process seems solid though)

Bass - Batter: Aquarian Superkick II
Resonant: Aquarian Resonator 4 3/4'' Off Set Hole White

Snare - Batter: Aquarian Texture Coated
Resonant: Evans Hazy 300 (still not sure between this and Remo snare side Hazy 3-Mil Ambassador or Aquarian Classic Clear)

Any advice or tips is much appreciated, especially for resonants on my toms and snare!
Thanks!

I was also thinking about changing my toms to:
Batter: Evans EC1 Coated
Resonant: Aquarian Texture Coated

If I were getting your drums, my head choices would be..

Toms - Evans Coated G1 / Evans Coated G1

Bass - Evans EQ3 / DW Logo Head

Snare - Either Evans Coated G1 or Evans HD Dry / any snare side head.

The only reason i choose Evans is because of the coating lasts longer, in my experience. There is nothing wrong with the sound of Remo heads, I just like my set to look good while it sounds good too.

it all depends on what sound your after, and what youll be using your kit for.

you cant go wrong with g1 over g1
or g2 over g1
( ambassador over ambassador,
or emperor over ambassador-REMO)

but you can always experiment.
there are so many differnt head options out there.

dont be scared to experiment.
just buy one head for a tom and if you like it buy them for the others

I love the stock DW heads but they go dead very fast.

I play Blues, Rock, Classic R&B, Soul and Funk. I am not a heavy hitter but I do play loud enough to blend with the band.

I left the stock heads on the bottom and went to the G2 coated on the top for the toms. I love them, nice and warm and they last a long time.

My bass drum heads are still stock. I use a pad to protect the head from the beaters. I love the stock bass drum sound.

I played around for a long time with my snare heads, and I have a few snares. I always end up going back to Remo single ply frosted on the top and a hazy on the bottom.

I agree with the statement above. Heads and tuning are very subjective. You need to experiment and find "your sound" I would pic a tom that your really like the sound of now and use that as your test bed. Then you will know if you like the new sound more or less.

Thanks for the replies guys, Im gonna ask my local supplier if there is some way I can just try some different heads out on my own drums. What do you guys think of EC1 coated over G1 coated for my toms? Im intrigued by the EC1 as Im looking for an open warm sound, but Im wondering if this will be too extreme.
