Default Looking for a louder metronome or headphones

I use the Boss DB90 with the Shure E2C phones and I can't here the click when I am playing with my band. We don't play that loud and I don't hit that hard either. I've been using a headphone mixer to add volume but its requires extra wires and extra set up time. Does anyone know of an easier or quicker solution for gigs? Better headphones or a louder metronome is fine with me but which ones should I get? Thanks

Hey there...

What I use are Westone UM2 in-ears with my Tama Rhythm Watch 105 metronome. I can use it with or without a mixer and it gets plenty loud... and I do hit hard sometimes.

Apparently you can get custom molds for your ears that reduce outside sound even further, but this system works best for me right now.

I think the key is the sound reduction of the foam earpiece.

Hope this helps...

Peace!

I've had great luck with Metrophones.
It has a volume control that works great, and can get loud.

I have the LED model now, but I did have the manual adjustment model for a long time (before my son got a hold of them when he was 3 & mangled the tempo knob...).

Anyhow, both are really nice, and work great/sound great in the studio & for rehearsal.
