Default Just got back from seeing QOTSA...

And it was the best I have ever seen them, an hour since they finished and I'm still buzzing.

I know this may be irrelevent to some, I don't know how many fans there are on DW. Joey Castillo was amazing, all the critics who bash his style should be shot. Tonight he was impeccable, his intensity and accuracy blew me away.

For those who are interested, the setlist was great.

Im a massive fan of Joey. Hes very creative and has a great power. He reminds me of Bonham alot.

Would have loved to see them, they played Brixton a few days ago but I was too skint!

Joey Castillo has been on my "drummers I need to learn more about" list for quite a while now. Everything I've heard about him has been been very positive. Was it true that he played for Danzig for a while?

Yes he did play for Danzig for a while. I think he is a very good solid drummer. Queens Of The Stone Age rock!! Glad you enjoyed the show.

I saw them three days ago, they warmed up for Foo Fighters and they blew me avay. They were so much better than Foo Fighters and after that show I've started listening much to QOTSA and I must say, it's some of the best I've heard in years!
ps. Joey Castillo rules!
