that bottom has to be the sexiest bottom I've seen this week *chuckle*

I'd love to hear those aswell. Are they jazz, funk, rock or metal oriented, or not specefic for one style?

Just checked them out at the paiste website (for sound samples). They sound nice! How much did they cost you, if I may ask?

To my ears they're pretty versatile. These hats are REALLY dark compared to the K mastersounds I tried. They are my perfect hat. dark, great stick definition and the right amount of slosh for those heavy parts. I would think they're a little dark for funk but the nice stick definition is great for those hi-hat licks.

They cost me 401 bucks new and i walked out the door with them.

now when i find that kind of money again i'll be looking for a ride.

*jaw drops* Wooooooow!!!! Yeeeeahhh! Now that's what I am talkin' about, man. Those are some very, very, veeeryy nice hi-hats!!!! I'm green with jealousy-- you are very lucky to own hi-hats like this.

Oh you'll see now... soon enough you'll be surrounded by Paiste. Is this your first Paiste(s)? Because this sure is one heck of a first. Congratulations sir, I am green with jealousy.

Hah yes it is my first Paiste. But I'm working on my personal sound really. I don't care what brand sounds good. As long as the cymbal sounds good.

Oh youenjoy00myself, ever hear of The Drum Pad? Thats where i got them

Sometimes, but the bottom is slightly different from the top more often than not. My cheap-ish Pearl hi-hat (which sounds awesome by the way, don't let the brand name fool you ;) ) has a bottom that is slightly heavier than the top, yet a little higher pitched.

Welcome to the paiste addiction ;) The Sig's and Traditionals are the most musical sounding cymbals out there if you ask me. Lord knows I've dropped enough cash on my collection of them lol Check Ebay, etc and try to nab'em used when you can. Cymbal prices these days are nuts.

Oh yeah, I've stopped by there before. Really nice shop. I'm surprised, though, when I stopped by there they said that they were always half off on cymbals, and there's no way 401 smackers is half off... although these are some really sweet hi-hats.

As soon as I save up enough money I'm probably going to head up there to pick up some 14" Giant Beats. After seeing these I want a pair, too, though... Aaaaaargh...

Wow, they are quite pretty. Now you need a Dark Energy ride and a pair of Signature crashes and you'll be good to go.
