Default New Bass drum

I just snagged a bass drum off ebay for $130. to match my Gretsch set and give me back my double bass set I missed. Pic one is of the new drum, pic 2 is of the set it will go on, (Comes complete with a mounting post for my 10" tom). Will post pics of complete set when Bass drum arrives.

nice gong, and kit. do you actually use double bass? if so, good man. but if you don't, there is nothing i hate more that a single bass player who has double bass drums.

LOL, Yes I started off almost immediately with twin kicks when I was 14 years old. Granted I'm No Speed demon like virgil donati, thomas lang or Dave Lombardo, etc. But I do play quite a few of my own songs with some fairly fast double bass, and I love filling out the bottom of a drum break or fill with some ruffs, etc on the kicks.

And yes I am more at home with the twin kicks out front, being 6'3 275 lbs I just look a little more natural behind the larger kit (imo).

Yes, cat Maple. CD should be finished and ready within 2 weeks, so you can hear how they sound....in the meantime check myspace I have a few new tunes up.
