Default The Encyclopedia Of Double Bass Drumming

HI all, just noticed this book on Amazon, The Encyclopedia Of Double Bass Drumming and just wondered:

Anyone own it?
Anyone love it?
Anyone hate it?

Reviews please, im thinking of getting this one so anything would be appreciated :)

I flipped through a few pages of it in a music store last week and it's a great book. The Thomas Lang book is better for double bass technique, but the Encyclopedia has plenty of useful fill exercises.

I own it and I think it's a very good book. Out of all the DB books I looked into a while ago this was the one I went for

It mostly uses a particular sticking (footing) convention that appeals to me

It maps the sticking to a single stroke roll, be it 16ths or triplets. (R L R L)

Therefore this rhythm: X . X X (. is rest) would use this sticking: R . R L

It's good. I also liked Derek Roddy's, too. I found both quite useful.
