Like the finish and the alphas. One question I must ask: No ride cymbal??

this just looks so fun to jam on and i don't know why!
Nice heads, cymbals, and i love the finish on the drums.
But once again, where's a ride cymbal?

That looks cool man. I like the flat and simple setup. Really cool.

i HAD a ride before i bought new cymbals... but... really i don't think i need it too much.. i have been jammin all day with a friend and i can just use this for a ride... and it sounds cool to be playin on the bell then just like lower the butt of the stick... it kinda crashes it.. but not too much... and you can always use it as it's called... a "Rock Ride!"... i was planning on buying a ride... but don't feel like i need one all that bad right now... and i would have to spend another 200 bucks for a cymbal i don't really think i need.... plus a stand..... NAA!!! glad you guys like the set/setup... i'm not all that big of a fan of the color.... but beggars can't be choosers.... so i got a yellow drumset.. lol or should i say baja gold..???

dang... i should get mad props for getting someone to post that has been away for a year... lol

glad you like it!!

i only have one real complaint about it... my 17" crash is like... directly over my hi-tom so it gets hard to hit the tom without hitting the cymbal when i'm moving around a lot or just like at full extension... but i guess if that's my only complaint i'm not doin all that bad.. huh??

If you feel uncomfortable about the 17" crash and 10" tom placement, try switching around the setup. You could fly the 10 incher over the kick and then pull the crash towards you a little bit. You don't HAVE to set up any way, but this is just a suggestion to help you if you find the crash uncomfortable where it is now.

You don't like yellow drums?? I love them, one of my favorite finishes in fact...

How do those Alphas sound on your kit? I was thinking about getting some of those.....Are they better than XS20's?

nice set up, I really like how clean it looks (probably because I would set the kit up the same way). Also I don't think the set looks yellow, it looks like a natural finish to me, although it could just be the lighting. For you 17 in placement try put the boom arm into the stand, it should bring the cymbal away from your tom some, but not to much to make it a reach. If that doesn't work, move the stand around some and experiment with different angels ect.

i don't know what i can do with that cymbal... it seems that all i CAN do is move it closer to me... so i'm content i suppose..

about the xs20's i don't know what those are like. i've never played on them.. i had b8's before the alphas.. which the alphas are obviously better than the b8's..
