This thing is a monster!

I can't get any great pictures because it's so glossy, but it looks incredible in person.

No mics so I can't get a sound file and I'm probably not going to post it on UbD. That moron Perogi will just go on about how I'm not man enough to play a snare like that and how 13" is better because Joey plays them or something stupid like that.

I usually don't care what people say, but he says such stupid things that I just have to respond. And he refuses to PM so threads get ruined... You have a point, I'm going to post it and hope that moron doesn't say anything.

even if he does, put him on your "fictive" ignore list.

That's gorgeous, not a fan of the depth, but the drum itself is amazing!

You'd be surprised, this drum has all the pluses of a deep snare while still keeping the pluses of a shallower snare. The response is incredible and it's an easy tuner as well.

Thats one beast of a snare, how do you get the most sensitivity out of it?

That's a beauty. The cordia is very retro. Now you just need the matching kit!

Congrats on a really special snare. I considered this exact model (specs and all) when I got my Black Panther recently. It is absolutely incredible looking. Even the inside of the drum is beautiful. And you're right about the tuning range. I cranked it up and it sang and I tuned it loose and fat and it sounded like a Civil War era drum (at least from the movies;-). Several drummers in the store stopped to check it out. A tell tale sign of a special instrument is when it stops people in their tracks and this drum did that - literally.
