Default 40$ deal for this cymbal !

Yeah, I scored this deal locally in my home town. 40$ cdn for this old but in very good condition 18" Zildjian A Medium Thin crash. The original owner have kept it in his closet since it was its spare one. It's about time to be my turn to find a deal that couldn't be refused.

Here's the pictures !!!
(All pictures were taken after cleaning the cymbal because it had many tape residue)

If it sounds good, which I'm sure it does, you did very well my friend.

Ah, the joys of buying from those oblivious to the prices of cymbals. Nice new addition.

Thank's guys

I'm getting use to its sound. It's a very bright cymbal (my 18" Sabian B8 thin crash was darker and thinner) which have a long shimmering sustain, it need a good smash to reveal its true color (I'm not a very hard hitter). What I like the best though is it's good be used as a crash/ride and the bell is very bright & cutting.

Hey I cant complain for 40$

The first professional cymbal I ever bought with my own money was an !8" Zildjian Medium Thin Crash back in the 1970s. You got a great deal; you'll love this cymbal the more you play it. I found it to be an amazing all-purpose crash.Kudos to you on this good turn of luck...enjoy....enjoy....

Even "used", they usually go for more than that. $40 is a great deal.

Nice find! I've got one just like it on loan and - for me - it's the crash of doom! Big finish now...

I also have the 12" Wuhan. Another killer cymbal for next to nothing. We seem to have very similar tastes. I love the Avedis Zildjian cymbals.
