Default Handy little youtube tip here for everyone

Love watching the numerous drummer videos on youtube but hate the disgusting quality? Well no more! It is a very simple fix to make those same youtube videos in higher quality.

All you have to do is at the end of the URL of any youtube video, add "&fmt=18" and go. This works for most videos.

example:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=Gi8gNeMc0x8

add the ending and it becomes

http://youtube.com/watch?v=Gi8gNeMc0x8&fmt=18

Now be able to enjoy videos on youtube that don't have the link underneath the video that say "watch in higher quality" (Which isn't that common).

It doesn't work on every video. I tried it on some of mine that I uploaded and didn't notice a difference.

Thanks Smoothjazz for these vids. This guy has great feel, the independence between his feet and hands is fantastic

I'll say. I love that samba and I have been trying to pick it up but I still have trouble keeping the feet keeping the steady beat. That is Winnie Mensink from Amsterdam by the way, aside from being a very good drummer, he's a vintage drum guy and does quite bit of selling from his site and has quite the collection.

Yeah, If you can view the video in higher quality, there will be a button for it.....usually, they still need to work out some bugs. I usually don't bother with changing the quality because there is not much difference, but the video you posted has a huge quality increase. I guess it just depends all on the quality of the uploaded file. Youtube is taking over the world.

Those Slingerlands sound great. His playing has given me some inspiration.
