I've got all kinds of stuff on mine. Sound effects CD's can give you traffic noises, jets taking off, boat whistles, rain, ocean, etc. Foreign language records. People singing or speaking in Greek, Indian, etc. I cut a piano in half and kept the soundboard and strings. A buddy of mine came over with a digital recorder and we plucked and hit piano strings with all sorts of things. The world is full of noise. Birds chirp. Chainsaws roar. Don't forget your effects patch either. You can manipulate the pre-programed sounds into some pretty trippy stuff also.

There is a ridiculous amount of sites out there with free sample downloads. You could also have a lot of fun making your own! :)

Do a Google search for 'free audio samples'.
