Default Drifters show summer of 2005

This is just an action shot when I played for the Drifters in late summer of 2005 - the hotest day every recorded in Oklahoma. And we were in a tent on a black top at the State Fair. I am obviously using DW drums - a 16x22" kick, 8x10" tom, 12x15" Rack tom as a floor and the 5x14" Aluminum Snare drum with the Nickelworks thorw-off retroplated to the snare. Cymbals are a 20" Medium Ride with three rivets, 18 " A Zildjian Thin Crash, 17" A Zildjian Medium Thin Crash (a workhorse of a cymbal), 8" A Zildjian Splash and pair of 14" New Beat Hi Hats.

Nice setup! A very versatile set of cymbals. What was it like playing in weather like that?

Very nice set Mike.

Ummm.... i notice on all your posts, you post your personal links at the end. Maybe you should put them in your signature so you dont have to take time to copy and paste all of them in there each time :D
