Default Question About condenser mics

I am looking for a pair of new overheads mics, i would like to know your opinion about these ones:
MXL 993
Sterling Audio ST31
AKG Perception 150
Audio-Technica AT2020

I want to know which one would the best for recording, I have a small home studio and I ould like to improve my sound, right now i have a pair of chep overheads and I think i need to change them, also my budget would be 250 the pair, so please give your opinion about these and which one would be the best

thanks

PD: For recording cymbals what is the difference between Small-Diaphragm overheads and the ones that are bigger?

Default Re: Question About condenser mics

I am using MXL 993 overheads, with M-Audio Pre USB interface and Garage Band for recording and they work fine. I'm not using them for gigs so they may act differently in that regard, but I've had no problems.
