Default Vic Firth Electronic Stereo Isolation Headphones?

I'm thinking of getting the electronic stereo ones of these because when I want to practice a song with my mp3 player I have to turn it right up so I can hear it over the drums.

I'm looking at these ones because of the price. How are these ones for using with an mp3 player and drum kit? I also saw Direct Sound EX-25 Extreme Isolation Headphones

Does anyone know if they are any good?

Thanks.

Edit: I've decided I'll properly spend the extra $40AUD and get the Direct Sound EX-29's because they're meant to be better. Does anyone know how these are and if they will plug into a metronome and MP3 player?
