Default my new Meinl ride!

Here it is, my long awaited Meinl Mb20 24" Pure Metal ride. It's huge, it's heavy, and it's really cool.

Do you know what the term "ping" means?

Nice cymbal, I have a set of Meinl Byzance's that I like very much.
They make great cymbals.

Well, being blessed with an especially keen eye for such things, I can say with certainty that the ping on this baby is non existent. This guy's no doubt going to have difficulties preventing the soft taps from being lost in the jazzy wash.

Seriously though, thats a beast. Huge bell. Bet it kills.

Cool! I'm guessing this is one for your unmiced acoustic jazz gig right?

Haha I bet that bell kills! I was looking at one a few months ago. Expensive bit of metal I must say! Enjoy it!

Surely isn't that better? Relying on sounding good rather then sounding like.

Yes and yes.

I got this off of eBay for half the price it's worth (I got it $235, and it's about $450).
And in the LoG songs, most of the time, he uses the bell. Right?

Actually, I've tried. But for some reason, the sound sucks!
I don't have any micing or recording gear, though. That may be it.

But once I get the sound right, that will be the first thing i'll do.

Tamascb10

After what you pulled, hell no.
Even if you didn't lie, no.

I sold it anyway. $285 for that wasn't bad. It wasn't dented. A few marks, nothing big.
