Default Just bought new "Band PA"

Just bought a Band PA.

Behringer PMP5000 1200 Watt Powered 20 channel mixer with dual effects!

We purchased a couple of 15 inch speakers with 5 inch tweeters in them.

We are looking for solid, but inexpensive mics for now.

Any recommendations???

Thanks

That sounds awesome!

i wish i could afford a p.a., but first i need to upgrade everything on my drums haha

As for mics, if your just using it for vocals get a shure SM58, usually pretty cheap and a great vocal mic. Or if your using the mics for instruments, look into the shure SM57, that mic can be used for pretty much anything.

apex makes solid vocal microphones for about 60-80$ a piece.

Oryou could always get the full stand, cable, microphone pack from peavey for 60$

Those arent exactly inexpensive. Apex makes a model that's supposed to compete with the SM58 and does a REALLY good job. Every vocalist (whether lead or backup) in my band has one. I'll get the model number up here eventually XD

Believe me, when put into the context of studio microphones, SM58's are pennies. They're an industry-standard live microphone for a reason.
