Default new Fat Hats

I regret to inform you that I haven't gotten to play them yet, but on wednesday I hope to possibly record them and definitely take pictures of them with the kit. But, alas, for now, you and I have to settle for looking at them. So here they are, Bosphorus Stanton Moore Fat Hats, 14" 920 / 1111 grams:

I've heard that those things sound beautiful. They sure look good, and they sound good on Stanton's vids here on DW. Make sure to let us know what you think.

bump.

I took pictures tonight before practice, and of course I finally gave em a test run... WOW. It was hard deciding which cymbals by shopping online, since it's impossible for me to play all of the cymbals that I was considering in person... but so I just have to say that Tony and Cymbalsony.com is the greatest thing ever. I will hopefully be able to record them on Friday night....

haha, as you can see, I forgot that there were mics on them from recording the other night (with AAX fusions, not the Bosphos), it wasn't set up to record anything tonight, otherwise I would've!

A piece of art!
Looks great and I`m glad you like the sound!
I`m curious about various Bosphorus cymbals...Fat hats, Masters (Turk), New Orleans hats.
If you get the chance, I`m really looking forward to it! =)

Yes, those do sound heavenly good! I know I promised a sound clip a long time ago, so I'm sorry, but I do finally have a recording of the hats now! We're recording as a band, and just about 15 minutes ago we put up some new songs on myspace: http://www.myspace.com/sophiasrevenge

The first song that you'll hear (A Procession!) is recorded with them. The second song only has them at the very end (the 'glorious ending' ; ) ) So, sorry about they wait, and I hope you like them as much as I do.
