Default New Giant Beats!

I went down to Forks Drum Closet and tried out the new Armands, the 2oo2's and the Stanton Moore line of Bospherus and I tried the Giant Beats, and well the pics say the rest. :-) These cymbals are amazing! I will definitely be getting more from Paiste. :-)

Those are great hats, very versatile for different styles of music.

I was conisdering them before i got all of my 2oo2's. I think that they are very good sounding cymbals.

I sadly didn't care for the sound edge 2oo2's I tried out, they were a little too clanky for my taste. The Giant Beats are just a very warm versatile cymbal. :-)

I didnt think they were lound enough either. They were the only hats the store had so i ordered heavy ones and they werent as loud as i would of liked but they sound great.

It don't get much better. Congratulations, if I ever get around to it, these hats are on my list to buy. The second I laid a stick on 'em at the shop I was in love. Nice warm mix of tones drenched with character, and like DB said they'll fit in with just about whatever you're playing. Man am I jealous.

Now I just need to decide on what type of crash I want to get, I know I want another 18" to replace my crappy ZBT one but I'm just not sure if I want a 2oo2 or a Giant Beat.

The other giant beat models will complement your hats quite nicely. I would personally go for the 20" GB multi which serves both as a ride and crash dutifully, but it's whatever sounds good to your ears.
