Default Carbosticks

I just bought some today because my teacher has them and they seem really heavy compared to his :S

They're both 7As but mine are heavier than a pair of 5A Vic Firths I have - Carbosticks are 54 grams and the Vic Firths are 52 grams whilst my Vic Firth 7As are 42 grams...

Does anybody else havfe 7A carbosticks and if so could you tell me how much yours weigh because mine feel really heavy :/ They feel a bit top heavy too but they're making cool sounds

Are mine maybe 5As and the sticks have the wrong packaging and the wrong writing on them? :S

I don't have the same size, but mine are also heavy and weighted towards the front.
They don't feel like a wood stick at all. But, I haven't managed to break them no matter how hard I try...

I also have the 7a Carbosticks and will agree that they are more like 5a's than anything else. I haven't weighed them but they are heavier than my old Vater 7a's and any other 7a I have tried.

Maybe the packaging is wrong, because I have thought the same thing. I do like them though.
