Default Should Ior Should'nt I? New heads needed!?

Hey everyone, so here is my question. One of my kits is sitting in my sisters house out in Palm Springs. To say the least its like a oven over there. Well I took out one of my toms and both heads are completely loose and dead. Like I have put new heads on there and not tightend anything up.
My question is do I need new heads or just tighten them up?! thanks

I have had that happen to me in hot weather when I hadn't played for a few weeks. Just seat them up and see how they tune. They may be stretched to death from the heat, may need to be replaced but you may get lucky. I did.

Don't bother imo, chances are something is going to be wrong so to avoid frustration just buy new heads. Inspect your toms first, ie edges and roundness.

Makes more sense to me to tune 'em up and see if everything's fine--which it should be--before plunking down a couple of hundred for new heads you might not need.
