Default DW 5000 question

Hello my fellow drummers! I have owned a DW 5000 Turbo Double for about a year and have been very happy with it aside from wearing out the pedal return bearings on a pretty regular basis (the platic ball bearing that the return spring attaches to). I am jaming with a new band now and using a kit in the practice studio. The kick pedal is a low end Tama (has a lot of side to side play and no toe stop) but it is infinatly easier to play 8th and 16th notes with than my 5000. I looked at the cam and it appeares to be designed like an accelerator. Heres my question......can I purchase accelerator cams to swap out my turbo ones, or do you think I will have to buy another set of pedals?
Thanks!
Mark

Default Re: DW 5000 Question

I have done it on two DW singles and one double. It is a piece of cake.

Thanks, so I guess I just have to contact a DW dealer to obtain the accelerator cams? I've tried in vain to find parts on the web.
