Default well.. my pedal is toast.

i bought a Taye Double pedal some time ago. it has been a pretty good pedal. it has nice features that higher end pedals would. but the last few days, the right pedal has been sliping. and to me, if something was going to mess up, it would be the left. but, nope it was the right. so i pretty much took everything apart that could be taken apart on it and took a look at it. its pretty much completely striped out. so when i push down the right pedal, nothing happens.
so any advice. i want to just go ahead and buy my iron cobra's. but i dont want to fork the money out if i dont have to. since ive saving up for my new kit. and another thing, is there anyway i could buy a single iron cobra now, and then add on the other pedal later.. like you can on the Pearls? or just better to go for the whole thing now.
thanks
Alex

Is it under warranty? If you contact Taye they may be able to help you out.
