Default Help choosing a Single Bass drum pedal.

Looking to purchase a new single pedal. I currently play the single side of a double Iron Cobra and it seems a bit sluggish, it is about 9 years old. I have an older Axis pedal and I don't like the way it feels, so that rules out the Axis and the Trick. Money is not really a factor but quality is. So I am stuck between a few pedals but have not had the chance to play a few of them. I am looking for some insight from some of the singe pedal players. Here are the pedals I am looking to purchase:

Sonor 600 series single pedal (I play a set of Designers and I love Sonor's quality)
Taye Metal works- Looks well made and seems like it would be adjustable
DW 5000, 8000 or 9000- not sure of the difference between all of them

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks in advance!

Get your feet on as many pedals as possible. I played the Tama ICs, Pearl Elims., Axis, the DW family, and a host of others and I bought the Yamaha Flying Dragon Direct Drive. I own 2 single pedals.
