Try TD-6SX because they are the same things, just the KX has the rack in a separate box.
I own the KXT/SXT and I love it. I got it last x-mas, and have been playing it to death. Its still held up quite well even after a couple hours a day, having gone across the nation twice now, and out for practices at least once a week. I'm noticing its missing a couple triggers, but I also haven't gotten the firmware update that is supposed to fix that either...
but I am so glad I took it over any of the yamaha kits, it feels much more realistic to me, and it sounds as such too.

I have an old Roland V Club kit with a TD6. Possibly the only use for this thing really is the electronic sounds. As far as acoustic sound goes, none of the options really sound like a real drum and you can't do anything like muffle them or tune them. I'm sure the new pads are much better than what came with mine now though. You really can't even roll on the drums at all with mine, or do rimshots or anything. All of the 'techno' type of things are great though. I think the only electronic kits worth anything are the TD-20s, at least they have better sounds to pick from and you can customize them. Honestly though, I've heard better sounds come out of Yamaha keyboards than my Roland kit.
