Snagged that at a local Music Go Round. Couldn't be more happy with the purchase. $96 of goodness.

id say get another arm or stand or something so that splash can be played the way God ment it to be. I hate splashs mounted like that. They always eat my sticks away, but if it works for you then power to ya im working on building a tiny set like at. I think ive got an 18X14 shell im gunna make the bass and at 16X9 floor tom. Its gunna be sweet. BRIGHT PINK

My only problem is now my Snare rattles like mad.... I'm running out of ideas, I put an index card on the snare and taped it down and it really didn't help at all. I tuned everything a little further from each other but... it's just not helping. Got any ideas Stagestar owners?

P.S. I have an 8" Zildjian A Custom Splash upside down on the crash... That's a real nice sounding cymbal.

Have you tried replacing the snares? Sometimes even new ones can be uneven in length and will buzz a bit. I just spent $65 on a new set of Prosound snares for my main snare and the center two strands have to be cut out.. they will not tension up.. For the money, I should have just gotten snappy-snares.

Good luck.

Good luck.
I only use that snare as a side snare now, and I took all the snares off of it anyway, I like it this way better.

newer pics there. That tom on the left has been replaced with my 13" Tama Stagestar Steel Snare

This thread reminds me why I love small drum kits and Mastodon.
