It seemed strange that he would one day just disappear from everyone's radar after averaging something like 20 posts a day.
Yes, I often think the same.
In general there were members I got to know...and they disappeared one day.
Maybe contact Stu? I thought about that...

Another great guy who is missing in my opinion.

Stu (for no reason) reminds me of steve smith a bit. maybe its his avatar, and the 's' in their names (Steve Smith and Stu Strib) that reminded me of him.

Stu contacted me a bit ago, but nothing much was said about the forum. It was more of just a friendly "hello." Although, Stu and I didn't talk about the forum much either. Just the usual rah rah. He is still lurking around though.

I know that he has other things that he is focusing on besides the forum. The forum was taking up alot of his time and has changed a bit. Maybe he simply felt that he wasn't getting the attention that he used to get. There are other older members who felt that they weren't getting thier due attention, so they caused a little cry baby stink....... remember? I don't think I need to mention names.

But, who really knows. I don't ask, and I don't really care.

I don't really think we need/want to bring up old issues like that, especially not 2 years later. One more for the fact that most of those people involved aren't here to defend themselves and another for the fact that you may have your facts wrong for why some, if not most of those people, myself included, left.

I hope you weren't referring to me. I might just be having a self-conscious moment here.

No, don't worry. He was referring to something that happened a few years ago.

Hey bud, I'm not trying to bring it up the past. Thats the last thing that I wanna do. I was only stating some of the obvious that older ones are used to seeing when people leave suddenly. Sure, it was a general comment, not necessarily stated as fact, but generalized and thats understandable. I'm not talking about you either... lol.

If someone is unhappy with the forum they should just leave. If Stu was unhappy to the point where he didn't want to associate with it anymore, he was an example of how to handle it properly. I really like the guy. He has great insight into things that I never thought of until I read his posts. I miss him, like I miss others.

He reminds me alot of Thinshells, but without all the drama... lol. *hope thats not a bad thing*
