There have been alot more Ludwigs popping up around here lately. Nice one. Nice cymbals too although the pics don't do the Earthworks finish justice.

OH YEAH!! Ludwig represent! What great looking kit, I really like that natural finish. Hopefully we get a vid or audio clip so we can hear those cymbals.

Really dig the kit. How does having the 18" floor tom on the left work for you? I have been considering moving mine over to the left because I play open handed southpaw-style.

How do you like your saludas?

seems like a great kit. whenever i think ludwigs (well, high end ones - i've got an entry level set) i think of that natural finish, it looks great.

i'll second that question. i'm actually thinking about putting a floor tom on the left when i get a new kit (i'm hoping to build one)

I really like the 18" tom on my left. I am a bit ambedextrious (sp?) and this works out really well for me. The placement also allows easier access for me to the large tom. The 18 is not used as much in my playing as the other drums but when needed it is easier for me to play it and move around the rest of the kit. For some reason it also seems I can do certain things with this setup that I can't do as well with the traditional setup.............quick stuff between both floors and the snare within a very tight operating area.

Regarding the Saludas, I really like them. I had Jamie do them all based on my preferences. They all really cut through and sonically fit very well together. They are all bright in nature with great sustain, and have a really unique and shimmering quality to them. There are however some somewhat darker tones that underly the bright nature of the cymbals (good thing). And yes it seems that with playing time they are getting a bit sweeter. They are all fairly new so this breaking in process is still going on.

That ride looks really good. It looks like a cross between a k custom ride and K custom dry ride, both of which are among my favorites. saludas get more and more attractive every day.

Very Nice outfit! I'm partial to the Natural finish, and your's seems darker (which I like) than other Maple Natural finishes I've seen. Did you custom order your drums?

Really great to see the Ludwig kits coming back into the lime light. I have the same finish in fussion sizes. I was trying to sell it on ebay, and the truth be told, I'm glad no one bid on them.

Really nice drums. They look great!
