Default Smells like new bronze! new Sonor S-Class gear...

hey guys!
i've added 3 cymbals since my last post (about a month ago) -
16" Zildjian K-Custom Fast Crash
18" Zildjian A-Custom Crash
9" Zildjian K-Custom Hybrid Splash

+ 2 Sonor 400-series boom stands

specs:
MAPLE 8x8, 10x9, 12x10, 14x14, 14x5 snare, 13x5 side snare, and a 20x17.5 bass drum
Sonor 600/400 series hardware

tell me what you think!
for some reason, the lights in my room tend to wash out all the color except orange/yellow... so here are 2 shots to get an idea of what the finish REALLY looks like -

and here are the new goodies!

at this point, i think i'm done adding items for a while :) at least 2 months....i can't think of anything else i truly NEED , also...

any suggestions? comments, etc.... let em fly!

cheers

First you get me with your cymbals.... then you destroy me with your kit.. just too good a set up, dude........The only thing wrong with this picture.... the heads look virginal and these babies need to be played.... unless of course they are new

I like this set-up. Comfortable, nice bronze and some excellent drums!! Great place to practice and have fun.

btw, I love your K fast Crash and the A Custom crash, both have an awesome sound, especially the K!!

Have fun with your new stuff,

Karl

Lovely cymbals, than many K / K customs on one kit makes me jealous. The drums are perfect, and look great with new heads.
Usually I wouldn't notice, but the hardware looks great on the kit. I love it all, hopefully I'm gonna get a nice Sonor one day. How's the 16" K custom fast? I've got the 17" and love it.

I thought you couldn't post PORN on this forum.

This kit is gorgeous and sexy. Wow. Someday I will own a professional Sonor kit.

Absolutely amazing

man...you guys are gonna make me get all teary-eyed! thank you so much for all the wonderful compliments :-D

drumbandit : Thanks man! the K sounds amazing...so explosive and beautiful! it speaks almost immediately, and there's so much color to the sound! it's a very multi-faceted ring, and i love it! my favorite part is doing little broken complex patterns with it..

aydee: haha yes, i had just swapped to Emperors maybe a month beforehand, and i play these very hard and often (2+ hours a day). The toms now, since i took these photos last week, have worn holes in the coating already! Stupid Remo heads and their disappearing coating.

like i said, i'm not really sure what to add at this point...i'm working on some custom chimes cut from larger cymbals (a la "Gavin Harrison"...if you can't tell, he's one of my idols)....but other than that, as previously mentioned, a better throne would definitely help me :)

any other ideas or suggestions?

To sum my thoughts up, that kit is hero. Just wow, everything is just exactely how it should be and if it looks as good as it sounds then that would be one sweet package. Great set for sure!

Well I'm jealous!
This set up is amazing, and Sonor, great drums indeed!
It's big, with alot going on, but yet still looks like it's an easy/fun kit to play.
