Well I picked up this giant beat 18' today to go with 24'.Great sound

Well, that is...pretty...damn cool!!
Just heard those on some sound files but I`m surprused how versatile the Ride actually is...like their sound from what I`ve heard. How are the crashes? Very loud? Dark...bright?

Hey Karl thanks,There bright,warm and a bit dark there fairly loud but not harsh.Listen to old zep bonham used them before he went to 2002.

I love that 18" giant beat. its so bright. I have the 18, 20, and 24 inch with the 15 inch hats.

Ahh lucky you, my 20" GB has been on order for about 3 weeks now. I can't wait to get it they are some of my all time fave cymbals.
