Thanks man. The hats are pretty bad... both pairs. One was free though, so it's OK.
The 18" crash and 20" ride don't sound too bad, but I don't really like the rest of the B8s.

So, I'm guessing with the toms oriented that way that you use paradiddle or something like them to move around the drums?

Naw, they're set up based around a 4-piece set up (10" & 14" toms). This is just a "larger" version of that 4-piece set up, in a way. :)

Very cool, not only is everything set up cool (left-side ride etc), everything is set up pretty ergonomically (IMO). Definitely a very attractive kit I'd like a play on.

Looks familiar! haha. Nice setup. I'd love to sit in on that kit for a while. I'm thinking of new grooves just looking at it...

How do you like all those 5000s? You've got a broken one in your avatar, is that one of yours?

Thanks a lot. :)

On another note, I need to find a better way to mount the 8" tom but still have it out as far as it it. I think I might just try inverting the front rack bar, I'm open for any other suggestions too.

I love them all. The kick pedals especially were a huge improvement over the Pearls I had before, and the 2 leg hi hat stand is probably the best hardware invention of all time. The broken one on my avatar isn't mine, but I know the guy who did it. Never seen anything like that before... He put the beater through the head and the pedal came down on the hoop-clamp wingnut. The ball of his foot was where the pedal failed, just behind that wingnut. Just snapped it in 2.

first thing I thought when i saw that picture was "flip the main rack bar around". Maybe you should try that! haha... It looks like that tom probably gets a little bouncy.

Yea, he's a great drummer. Watching him is what kind of first started my interest in multiple pedal stuff. I don't really listen to too much of the actual bands he's palyed with though.

Really great drums for the price, though I think they've been discontinued now? I really like the 12" snare, but the 14x4 is just a little too shallow for my liking.

Yea, I really like DW's hi-hat stands. My remote is real nice, and I tried some "normal" ones too and liked them. I'm not as big on their bass pedals though, but that's just me. :)

Alright, I guess I'll try inverting it first. :) It actually is very solid, I just kind of have a feeling that's not really good for tom arm to be mounted sideways like that. It might not be a problem at all though, and I'm just being paranoid... I dunno.

It's definately not your *everyday* set up. Different, intriguing, pleasure to look at, and most of all its screams... "Come play meeeeeeee.

And I think I know why... That looks like an awesome set-up. Seems to be like two kits merged into one :)
