Default Roger Earl

Here is one I didn't find. we are doing a FH tune, and in listening to it, brought back a lot of memories from the 70's, not that I'm capable of a lot of memories from then. On the studio version of "I just want to make love to you", the bass drum part seems a bit too much, but everything else was pretty much in the pocket. Not too much, just enough.
What do you think? Any input on ole Roger?

He was underrated in my opinion. I heard a solo from him one time and it was really good.. By the way, Slow Ride is the definition of groove

I remember the first time I heard EASY MONEY, the double bass just blew me away, I couldnt believe that anyone could play that fast.

I saw Foghat back in their prime in the mid seventies at the Pontiac Silverdome. Ted Nugent, Foghat and Aerosmith What a show!!!

I recently saw the current lineup at the Bike Night at the fairgrounds in West Palm Beach. Roger still has the beat and the drive

We opened up for Foghat in Montgomery Alabama. He was the nicest guy. Very down to earth. However, I was talking to his sound man and he said of all the drummers he had worked with, no one use their "mikes" more than Roger.
