Very nice looker you got there. Love the wood hoops on the kick.

I've been looking at pics of classic or atleast classic sized Luddies lately because I'm sculpting Ringo in my sculpture class. They are some very beautiful drums.

I did. Only one showed up the first time, but it's working now.

They look incredible. You definitely got a great deal. I don't really care for the orange snare against the mahogany though. Natural would fit better IMO.

Yeah, but it's not actually orange, it's a birdseye maple and looks much better than the photos indicate. The snare sounds fantastic as do the drums, although I'm putting Remo coated Ambassadors on the toms, I don't care too much for the thicker Ludwig heads that came with the kit.

Well, if it looks any different, I'll be sleeping with it outside.

Nah, go a Tempus carbon fibre, completely weather resistant. If you got a big enough kick you could sleep in it.

Yeah, and I could use one of those DW's drum pads as a pillow......I hope my girlfriend doesn't read this and think I'm serious.

One more photo with the Ludwig logo, heh, I'm a poet and didn't know it, I can make a rhyme anytime, ok, I'll stop now.
