You should get rid of the link however, the last thing you need is more competition!

Are those actual rivets? They look like those flexible things you use to keep hole punched papers together.

and that is funny because why? Rattle when the cymbal is hit to make a sizzle sound...plus they match the cymbals finish

Considering some people use small chains, paper clips, or coins, I don't see what the big deal is. If it makes the sizzle sound, that's all that matters.

i dont really see why it would be amusing if you look at the rivets the big 3 use they are allmost the same except you dont need a special tool to make them stay and btw way they are not the paper clip things. They are called split rivets, and are more user friendly than the other kind. http://www.cymbalsonly.com/test/imag...bos_rivets.htm

so you can retract your ignorant statement and maybe try doing a little research before you make more of an ass out of yourself
Oh alright. I've never seen those rivets from the underside. I didn't know that you bent them that much when they were in the cymbal, that's what I thought they looked like paper clips.

You don't have to get so defensive about the statements made, they're just observations, and you corrected them.

no hard feeling twards you fourstrings. I had never seen the underside of them either untill now. You had a good question and I did the research to find out what they really were. You had a valid question. It just really bugs me when people pretend they know what they are talking about. Especially when they are bashing someone elses gear.

ZildjianMan1023 had no idea what he was talking about and shouldnt have opened his mouth. I am sorry for over reacting and will be editing that post

next time before makeng an uneducated ignorant statement do a little research first
alright man, wasnt looking to offend.. if i was going to make an ignorant statement i wouldnt of done it over something dumb like this

i found it amusing on my behalf

i dont need to do research i have all the facts in front of me

i guess ill be more carful next time on what i find amusing

god forbid if i mistaken some rivets for some paperclips WHICH i found funny..my opinion

DONT have to make me seem like an arogant fool

its cool.. at my school we dont even get to get on myspace.. consider yourself lucky

Drummerworld is a geat place to share opinions and views. just be more cool next time.

no need in badgering anyone..

Even if they were the paper clip things you could just easly swap them out and put in beads or those metal kind.. something that makes it unique
