No point really, but why are you being so rude?! And why are you offended by my post...In other words...What's your problem?!

I was neither rude nor offended. I only asked why you would post photos with no story or meaning. Sorry.

Well..I didn't think anyone really wanted to hear that I had to sell my stuff for medical bills for my family...No problem....I merely thought that this was a place to post equipment pics...It was an impressive collection

I admit it is an impressive collection of drums, which made me wonder why they were sold, were they replaced with some new ones. Your reasons are of course yours, and we are a very sympathetic and compassionate group here. I'm sorry that you are having health problems and of course hope they all work out for you. But as a group we are all pretty good listeners. Best wishes always.

Damn... Sad to hear about your health problems but also sad to hear about a loss of so many drums.

Friend, I understand your angst, and your inner frustration. I've been there.

It might be more healing to talk about what so neat about your collection.

Open up a little more, thats all Gruntersdad was trying to get you to do.

Sorry if I overreacted...it's a long story...At one time I had a late 40's Radio King kit...a Yammie Rec. series bass with birch custom toms...a Pearl all-maple mrx series I think, a 60's Sonor teardrop lug kit, a N&C kit with a Star series bass and Horizon toms and SS snare...other snares included a mid-40's RK snare, a COB Cleveland Rogers Powertone and Dyna, A 10 lug 60's COB Krupa Slingy, a 60's 4x14 Ferro Sonor..my 1st snare, which I still have, a 6.5x14 Sonor same vintage. I recently found a Gretsch RB kit that I'm making payments on and will be my final kit...it's 13-16-22, 2 are a re-wrap, all the rest are orig..for 750...I've been a pro drummer for close to 40 years, have had a fairly sucessful career, but these family problems really brought me down...I'm just doing the best I can...I appreciate the well-wishes guys..Thank you..

It would be cool if you could scan/enlarge each picture. Maybe make each one "it's own topic". I also know exactly what it's like to have to sell stuff in the wake of curve balls that life throws at you. A buddy of mine one told me "we never really own anything, we just get to hold something and enjoy it for as long as we're meant to". That little "outlook" certainly has helped me "let go" quite a bit.
