Default Meinl Byzance Ride Cymbal

I just bought this Meinl 19" Byzance jazz ride. It's actually more like a crash/ride, which is how I'll be using it. These are Turkish cymbals, I almost bought a Zildjian 19" Armand ride, but I thought this one had a better crash.

Great choice!
I really like the Jazz Rides and Thin Rides...nice tone.

I think you can compare those with the Traditionals of Istanbul or Bosphorus...what do you think?

That's incorrect. I'm not sure about all their lines, but the Byzance are hand made in Turkey, then sent to Germany where they finish them.

I wish I could supply one, I'll try and get a video made. I tried the cymbal today and it
sounds fantastic! I may have to look in to buying more of these.

Here it is set up with kit, it's the one on the right.

Anyone else have anything? I just picked one of these up and it's a fantastic cymbal.
