Default Custom Maple Stave Snare

I custom build a maple stave snare to replace my old generic steel snare.
It has 20 staves and it is 14 x 7.5.

A few drums i found on a sidewalk after a garage sale.

Specs:
CB Percussion Mx Series
Bass 22 x 14
Toms 12 x 10, 13 x 11
Im thinking of adding a 14 x 12, and a 16 x 14. And wrapping them in Black Oyster Pearl. Any suggestions? Oh and I have the lugs. I'll be adding to the bass though to make it 20 lugs and making her a virgin. Its drilled for classic legs too. So if anyone knows were i can get the curved ones let me know since the straight ones on it don't touch the floor!

Cool project then... Upon closer inspection you may want to try lathing down the inside a bit more but I'm sure it still sounds awesome. I know I love my maple stave. Unfortunately I had to steal some parts from it so it's down for a while until I replace them... ah well.

Yea I'm going go to sharpen the edges but the inside I'll leave alone.

Much better... I'm sure it sounds better too. If you get a chance run the inside on the lathe and smooth'er out a bit more. Either way, great drum!

What degree angle did you cut the staves?
