It sounds wonderful... Dry, with a good stick definition and the bell is just awsome:)
I bought it on Internett. With a little help from Tony at Cymbalsonly.com

I have loads of Zildjian cymbals and paiste hats:
Cymbals:
Paiste: 2002 14" sound edge hi hats
Zildjian:
20" K heavy ride
15" K custom dark crash
8" and 12" A custom splashes
18" A custom crash
18" K custom fast crash
18" A custom fast crash
22" A custom ride
18" K china boy
12" Bottom special recording hat.( I sometimes use it as a hi hat with the 12" splash)

IIt is a pretty good all-around ride actually.. It has the stick definition and dryness to work in a Jazz situation, but I would say that it will Work better with Funk and RnB..

Good Ride!!
I think it would work so well in a Big Band...but I wouldn`t personally use it for a small combo. Although it doesn`t show so much character to me I really really like its sound.
It IS versatile...

btw, Ive got the Phil Collins DVD, the last tour, live in Paris and I experienced the concert in Cologne - live - and well, Chester`s Ride (the Liquid Ride) sounded so nice.

have fun with it!

Karl

Yeah I just had another listen. Very nice. How comparable to the Sabian sound files do you think it is? Theres always going to be diffrences in cymbal, room, stick and recording but have they got it right?

I Have fallen for a few Sabian rides lately. Some amazing sounds.

Thanks for the comments guys:)

It is pretty close, but of course two rides will never sound completley alike..
I am just looking forward to trying it with my kit. The kit in my dads basement at his office. So I have limited acess.

Thanks again:)
