Thanks Red Hawk, I've always wanted to own a vintage Gretsch kit after owning Ludwigs.
These drums (IMHO) look great and sound fantastic. The floor tom with those heads shake the house!!! Just a nice all-round kit to wail on.

if those sound as great as they look, they may disappear from you house tonight around 2am...those things look amazing, and I don't doubt they put to shame a lot of sets

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone! I don't spend as much time as I'd like to playing
but when I do it feels great.

d.c.- I mostly play classic rock and R&B with a bit of Funk thrown in now and then

Joe- The store where I bought my cymbals has a seperate room with a kit set up so you can try different hi-hats and cymbals. When I heard the constantinople I stopped sampling and bought it. Fast attack and quick decay and a little darker than the vintage crash that I have.

Is that an animal skin Gretsch head? I feel like an idiot asking, where did you get it? It's just what my set needs!

Damn, that's one cheerful set of drums. Looks like loads of fun. Did you put the logo on the bass reso yourself?

Thanks all for the kind words! The logo was put on by the previous owner. The k cie is an awesome cymbal loud with a quick decay perfect for those accent notes.
