Wow, I totally love your setup, man.

I have a 14" Alchemy regular hi-hat, and I love it. I had a 10" rock splash, which I had to sell and I miss it. Also, I've got a Mehmet 22" Sultan ride, which is great.

Istanbul is the way to go!

Hope you enjoy all those cymbals! Really like that 17" Agop thin Traditional, aren`t those Agops beautiful?
What do you think about the Alchemy`s versatility? Are there also light weighted Alchemy models??

Karl

the agop is actually a med-thin and it is a beauty. Alchemy is versitle if you get the right ones, I think the sweet crashes and etc. are the thinnest ones
more of a warm-bright sound mixed and not as heavy.

I am in the process of replacing the china with a 16" alchemy power china and the wuhan crash with an 18" med-thin trad. Nice!!

How do you like that snare? My nieghbor has that one, I have the same one only in a hardtail blue color, I think It's a good drum for the money. some others on this site beg to differ. The maple is not good enough for them. What ever, it does a good job and sounds great with the rite heads on it!

I love it, I eventually want a black panther. But i wanted a wooden snare for now for a good price and snatched this baby up. It is fantastic!

Very nice! I have a 24" Raw Ride and that thing kills. It is actually versatile as it is slightly dark, has just enough ping for rock and enough wash for some louder jazz situations; and a bell that breaks glass! How would you describe your power ride? I have played on some of the Alchemy hats and they are really nice. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to replace my K Custom crashes with Alchemy sweet crashes or Traditional dark crashes. How do you like your trad?
As far as China's, I have the 22" Alchemy Professional and it is amazing. You can't go wrong with those. I play Sultan hats... if you ever decide you want a little more trash in your hats, try those out... I have 14" and 15".

Anyway, excellent setup... definitely stands out big time outdoors!

My ride is actually a 22" raw ride and it is amazing, I love it. The bell is just, friggin awesome. My traditional is amazing I love the warm sound it produces and it reacts quickly. I had a pair of 14" sultans before these alchemy custom mixed hats I have now. I will post a pic of my old set if I can find it.

Older setup

Hey matey.

nice kit.

I notice you sit up high too........
its suprisingly easy to balance.

One more question - how do you like the wuhan cymbals?
Ive got a few china's, but am thinking about getting some crashes.
are they any good?

EDIT: nice dog by the way

Thanks!

Well on the wuhans it depends. When I first got them they sounded great because I had nothing to compare them to. Then when I got my Istanbuls I hardly used them. I mean for the money they sound great. If you want to upgrade I would save the money, if you really need cymbals then I would get them.
