Default my new kit

so after 12 years of abusing my yamaha power v specials i picked up a new kit. i was supposed to just be buying pics for my guitar player but you know how that goes. you have to check out the drum section. i put new ec2 coated tom heads on it and the aquarian batter and resonant super kick set on the kick. they sound amazing.

Cool. Just like i like em. Sweet and low. I must admit though, your kit looks naked w/o a bass drum logo. But, its all good. Nice stuff!

yeah man i agree. the kit sounds great and looks good. my yamahas have been through alot and probably still have more left but it was time. they've seen four studio sessions and have seriously kicked ass in all of them. they've also seen hundreds of stages from the house of blues to giants stadium and tore that up too. i can't take anything away from yamaha. they make great gear. this is just another example that you don't need that $2,000 to sound good and look good.
