Is the Pearl a Master Series Pearl? Looks amazing, the small toms are sweet, I hope you love it man!

PS: Why are those sizes called BeBop sizes???

Anyway, cool kits, curious about the sound of the Pearl...

I don't think he means 'BeBop sizes' literally, just that the 8/10/14/18 config lends itself to that style of music?

I think they could be birch drums? Gelebraz?

I like 'em lots!!!

Beautiful kits you've got there. Makes me want to get a second kit! I'll bet that 8x7 Pearl really pops.

Love the Pearls! They look great.

I have a 7 piece Yammie Custom Maple in the same finish as yours and have been toying for some time with the idea of getting a four piece, 18" kick based kit for smaller gigs and for rehearsals. And you've already done it. In considerable style at that.

Am also debating just getting an 18" kick in Maple Custom, although the price of a new one in this country is v scarey.

What is that cool looking snare?

Silly me,
The Snare is a Mapex Precious Metal Hand Hammered 14x6.5. This snare produces a very warm rimshot. I really abuse on rimshots. haha.
The bebop thing is just a way to call it, not really the type of music I play, but highly appreciated. They are small sized drums and yes, they are Birch, did I forget to mention that?
The poster, hahaha, whatheck, too much trouble to rub it off from the picture.
Two things that are the coolest on these kits are: 12" Special Recording Hats (wich is probably of the most simple cymbal I have, even the 8" Sig/Splash cost me more) they have this sweet and simple sound I love it and my 20" Traditional Medium Ride, whoever played the traditional rides can say, they are one of the best rides I ever came across.
Thanks guys!

It's incredible, I played with several 8x8 toms from different brands, even a Session Custom Maple, none of them can produce the warmth of this one. This is a set that I wanna keep it for a long time.
Thanks.
