That looks great! How is it as crash? I have never tried a 22'' Crash before but I would really like to, must have a massive sound.
Looks like a beast! Can we get a sound file?

the crash sound is heart stoping! its very loud! i thought it would be hard to control at first but it is pretty dark and dry. when crashed it opens up and is pretty bright. it is by far one of the best crash rides you can under 150

i played with it today in jazz band and this thing blew me away! the crash sound blends perfect with my paistes. i can not believe how good this thing sounds with brushes! We play a song called angel eyes its a slow jazz song and i play it with brushes, there is a break in the song for time changes and when hit the break there was this wash of dark overtones it was great everyone was like wow that is cool, i am very pleased with this cymbal

well with tax and everything it was really 138. i got it from a local musicstore www.midwestdrum.com the guys there are great. they ordered it from mountain rhythm and when it got there i just drove up there and got it 45minute drive but well worth it. If i were you i would go to mountain rythems website check and see if they have any dealers near you becuase the places here on the web are a little more than what i got it for.

you can order from

http://www.frontrangebronze.com/ or http://www.songbirdmusic.com/

i highly recommend finding a local mountain rhythm dealer and asking if they can order them because i got mine tax and everything for 138 and the web places are selling for 174

That's a really nice cymbal. I always wanted to have a decent crash/ride although I have an old Paiste 404 that functions as such. I notice that the lathing pattern on your cymbal resembles the old Paiste 505 lathing patterns...very interesting. Looks like you made a great choice. Congradulations are in order...
